Yellowstone Day Tours
A successful scenic and wildlife tour company operating in Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks was sourcing most of its business from third-party booking sites. Looking for marketing help, the owners brought me on to wean off of the dependence on third-party sites and increase direct bookings.
The issue was easy to identify. The brand had not been developed. It was missing cohesion, authenticity, and tone. Business was reliant on "Yellowstone Day Tours" being a powerful name for SEO, and third-party sites product display compensating for the lack of branding.
So, I got to work. I made a list.
- Clean logo up
- Rebuild website
- Inventory content, create new content
- Build social media presence
- Start blog
- PPC ad campaign
- Create stronger relationships with local concierge, push the renewed brand to them.
Launched in November, these initiatives led to a 473% increase in bookings for December and annual sales for 2025 are up 90% by the end of February.
Here's what it looks like -

Logo.
The old logo a bit blurry and unnecessarily including ".com", I cleaned it up and removed the ".com".

Website
The website was outdated and needed to be stronger. The old website was not conveying a strong brand. Especially in comparison to competitors. It needed contemporary design, strong copy, ease of navigation, a chat box, and a consolidation of pages. With limited budget, I designed, built and wrote every inch of this website. Screenshots of before and after below, but please visit the website to see it in full.

Having close relationships with local concierges is crucial. I fostered new relationships and partnerships that are providing new avenues for bookings.
